    Hi,

I am making a 2d game primarily with text and a few graphics. I want to use some of the low poly assets, but when I bring them into my game, as prefabs, they're completely black. I know this is due to lighting, so bringing in the directional lighting adds colour to them - is there a way to get around this without doing this?

The second issue I have, is that even with lighting the assets they don't seem to appear whatsoever in the Game view.

I want to use these prefabs as editing the mesh allows me to get the exact colours I want, and I don't want to change the mesh, take a screenshot, and bring it in as an image.

If it should not be black or colored, how should it look then? Maybe you want to use a proper material or maybe shader to get it to look as intended.

I'm not sure if I understand the second question. So in scene view the assets are black and in game view invisible?

Sorry, if you can't understand that then maybe you don't know. Much like me, so hopefully someone who does know can answer.
