I'm trying to create a bowling game. At the start of the game, I was planning to have the pins fall from a very slight height onto a surface (which is currently a cube). So, I set up the head pin to do this, but I noticed that it actually sinks into the surface rather than staying on top of it. I'm attaching a screenshot:

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks.

Okay. I think I solved it by adjusting some physics parameters.

    I went to

Edit > Project Settings > Physics

Then I lowered this number from 0.01 to 0.0001:

    Min Penetration for Penalty

    Seems to work now.

might really be that your collider is too small or that you need to increase the skin width a bit.
