Bombed Out (Our First Game)

    Hello Everyone!

    We have just released our first ever android game - bombed out, available for Android on the store now!

    You play as Dave. Dave is a bomb disposal robot in a futuristic weapons factory that has gone wrong and is constantly dropping bombs onto poor Dave's head. You must help Dave survive as long as possible by pushing the bombs into the disposal pits whilst trying to avoid being destroyed by the bombs he doesn't manage to defuse in time.

    The gameplay is simple, touch the left or right hand side of the screen to get Dave to move in that direction and push the bombs into the pits.

    About Us:

    ShotgunPanda games is a small indie game dev team based in the UK. Our first game was a proving ground for methods of using Unity collaboratively and has thus far been quite successful. We are now working on our second game which will have much greater scope.

    Very nice idea. You should maybe make a penalty if it falls on the players head?

    Hey Panda - congratulations on release.
    I think the pits don't stand out enough - in screen shots. Might consider changing the stripe pattern at the pits just a little (maybe red) if you consider updating.
    You may also consider some shake/rumble motion of the screen resulting from a bomb exploding out side the pit. And maybe throw Dave off his path a little bit, maybe bounce him up into the air where he is not controllable for a split second.
    Might improve the game play just a little bit - and maybe add a little more difficulty - which it looks to be lacking at first glance.

    Overall - good job. I like the simplistic aesthetics. The game looks nice.

    Thanks for all the feedback guys! I like the idea of having some vibration feedback when a bomb explodes, and knocking Dave about a bit. Also I think people are right about the bomb pits not standing out very well and so will address this in an upcoming release!
