Unity decided to kill it alongside their own DOTS-VS solution and now they're essentially starting from scratch again with Bolt 1 as a base. It won't have code generation:

To add the cherry on top they also decided to deprecate their new graphs UI framework "GraphView" and instead plan to make a new graphs UI framework called "Graph Tools Foundation".

    Don't hold your breath..

Bolt 2 was placed in the drawer, but almost ALL of its features will be gradually implemented in bolt 1 (and it was said that code generation is a future possibility, but not a priority)

This also includes Dots VS, one of the Bolt developers said that a new backend is being tested and significantly improves performance.

And the referred graphView is one of the alternative graphical branches that were developed together with the GTF (Graph Tools Fundation)
GTF is the main branch that will be used as a front end for bolt, ShaderGraph and VFX
