Bokube is a copyrighted title of mine in development. A puzzle platformer game I'm working on where you play as a bunny cube named Boku on a quest find home! Each level is a puzzle you have to conquer to get closer and closer to the end of the game.

You can make music very easily, for example I am using garage band, and I'm just playing random notes in the software and layering them up.

    I wanted to make a note;
That after tonight I'm 50% done with the desert world. I will be making an update based on that progress when its done before I completely move over to the snow world.

Honestly, I thought the same thing, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite easy to put something together.

It's not going to be an orchestral masterpiece or anything. I'm a one guy show too.

For the copyright for a single background sound in a game I think you're looking at $100

How are you prototyping the levels? Are you doing them with a custom script inside unity or in some 3D modelling software.

As a quick update here is the latest work iv finished with the desert world.

It took me much longer because I was busy trying to figure out the best color pallet for the desert world (here is the old picture of this level much earlier in development):
    (Old early version)

I'm currently finishing off the last 2 levels of the desert before I move on to the snow world and they will be much quicker now that iv got what the desert should look like down.
(Pic: Start of Western Town assets before I start on a desert town level that uses them).

    BOKUBE 2019 work so far:
I started a feedback/progress post discord that can be regularly updated and posted on by me. If you've been wanting to follow my development but hate twitter this could be an alternative for you. I'm hoping to use it as a good new feedback loop as I have sadly lost my last feedback group.

Since we (might) be getting close to the end of bokube's development if I'm lucky and release in December it could be enjoyable to watch the crunch hour development progress that will be posted there.

    Bokube 2019 progress montage pics
A ton of work on level design, textures, and color pallet's was done since early 2019. Here is a montage of a lot of that.

Its been awhile. Lots of work has been done but I still can't see the entire game being done and released until maybe December 2019. There isn't really any major issues in development aside from content development grind taking too long. (I'm gonna try and increase the daily hours again).

Love the colors on all themes, game-play reminds me a bit of Captain Toad.
Can't wait to see how your creativity put in every single levels, keep it up.;)
