Hi Everybody! This is very weird - in the Unity editor the blur effect works nicely, but on iOS the effect does work, but everything is VERY bright (2x-3x brighter). I've even tried an empty scene but still same thing. (Blur.js)

fixed! seems that it works if you add the blur by going to "components->image effects->blur" and it didn't work if I simply dragged the script onto the camera

Hey, so I'm having what seems to be this exact issue. I tried your solution but it didn't seem to help anything. Was there possibly anything else you did besides the way you attached the component?

I've never used the blur effect before but I'm guessing this is a new issue since the only two forum/answers posts were posted very recently. There is a similar post on Unity Answers here http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/750745/image-effects-blur-on-ios-adding-brightness.html.

Anyone know why this is occurring?

    My current "working" scene has:
BlurEffect.CS attached to the main camera
    in the shader field: Hidden/BlurEffectConeTap

Ah I see, yeah I ended up using BlurEffect as well. It seems to perform all right on Mobile for what I need so I might go with it but it's still strange why Blur.js is acting like that. Thanks for the reply.
