Question Blocky shadows when baking lighting

    Hey, I'm working on a VR simulation and am playing around with generating lighting. I have all the values turned up pretty high, yet I'm getting lots of fragmenting shadows on some objects. The attached screenshots show the scene without baked lighting, and then the blocky shadows that appear after baking. This happens to some objects, but not all.

    What values + settings should I be tinkering with to smooth out these shadows? Are these shadows dependent on the object's geometry?

    Did you check "Generate Lightmap UV" on model import inspector? It looks like artifacts from lack of lightmap UV

    Thank you for these links, I did need to generate the lightmap UVs. These threads about lighting are immensely useful and I have been exploring all sections of it to improve other aspects of my lighting as well!
