    Hello everyone, I would like to introduce our new game Blocky Racing, which is grown from my game Out of Brakes. This time on game was working two people, and we found an indie publisher, which is very big step for us.



    From tomorrow we start closed beta test, so I would be happy if you could play a game and say few words about it balance, why you like it or not, and will you play it after release?

    Thank you, the partial destruction of cars is a main difference from another casual mobile racing games. The next thing we need to figure out is "how players will like it or not" :)

    Looks like fun. :) What's the target platform?

    Edit: Scratch that. I can see it on the website. I'm curious what control you implemented there.

    Thank you frankslater. We have two options: touch zones to turn left/right, or driving wheel.
    Cars speed up automatically, so we don't "overload" mobile screen / players input with accelerator/brake buttons

    Somehow I overlooked Out of Brakes when you posted and released. Looking forward to the evolution you incorporate to overcome the low retention of the previous title.
    Are you using the same lighting setup as you used in Out of Brakes? The lighting/shadows in it were nice - well done - not distracting due to over occluding or low res shadowing. Nice work.

    Thank you, theANMATOR2b. Yeap, design / textures / lighting pretty much the same as in Out of Brakes - it was my general idea to create more "deep" game, but based on what I already done. Currently we started closed beta-test, I hope it will give as some answers about retention / player's progress.

    We are one week away from the release of Blocky Racing!

    The game is scheduled to be released on January 18th, 2018. It's currently available via Closed beta on iOS & Android (application on website) and open for Open Beta access via Google Play on January 11th.
