Video [Blocker] 2019.1 Windows 7 Crash on videoplayer

All versions of 2019.1 confirmed crash when playing video on Windows 7 (How did you miss it guys?), tried transcoding in H264 - the problem persists. My pain. Please notifiy when this is fixed. The bug is a blocker and I highly recommend adding Windows 7 to test cases.

Windows 7 SP1, bug case:
- Unity Editor crash on any video
- Unity Client crash on any video
- Visual glitch on video playeback

 

same issue here, works perfect in 2018.3.13.f1, but green corrupt and crash in 2019.1 will report a bug

 

We have the same issue on 2019.1 Windows 7 and it's gonna heavily hit our workflow.
We can't swith on newer versions of unity cause it's not reliable yet. and can't buy windows 10 everywhere cause it's gonna cost a lot.

Did anyone find workaround?

 

Hey, we solved only for standalone, converted all videos to VP8 (S*** quality, but it works) and the staff who worked on Win7, buy Win10
