    hi.
when we want to install our app we get the error by google protect that says: "play protect does not recognize this apps developer..." we can press "install anyway" button and install the app , but why this error appears ? the app is signed and we don't know what should we do. when we change the keystor the error goes away but as soon as we update the app with the new version , error comes again. please help if you know the reason

    oh, no.
    exact situation.
I updated an app, built the app with the same keystore, tried to install by usb for testing.
android says no. I rebuild because I think I messed up the key. still no.
im using a build that I had made and installed the night before. so I delete it and install the official play store build to overwrite because maybe the problem was that I was installing on top of something unofficial(that wasn't the problem).
so then I uninstalled the original, and tried installing it fresh. nope
I put it in airplane mode, and it installed. tested, and uploaded it to google play and it took it just fine.
the key was good, the app was good, it was just a google play error.
when your users get the app from google play, it will install. just put it in airplane mode for testing.

install your testing build in airplane mode(with keystore)
when you upload to play, your players wont get that error.

ah... you know what they say about assumptions. sorry.
don't know what to say. it sounds like google is trying to lock down their platform as hardcore as crapple.

If that market is flagged by Google the you can't avoid the protection warning as it's a stock feature and would require user to disable the protection features.

if you are trying to install from apk, you have to allow installation from unknown source first...
goto setting> security > unknown source, then check "Allow installation of bla bla bla..." (I forgot what it actually says) checkbox
