Blendshapes not saving problem?

    I have a script that creates Blendshapes on an object, which works fine, new Blendshapes are created, added to the mesh and they playback nicely. If you save the scene, open another scene and come back everything is fine, the blendshapes are present and work. But if you exit Unity and open Unity and load the scene the Blendshapes have gone. How is it the Blendshapes save fine from scene to scene but are lost on restart? The mesh, component and scene are all marked dirty when changes are made, not sure what is missing.

    I am also interested in this! I tried changing Read/Write import setting. But when I restart Unity, everything resets! Did you find any solution for this after all this time?
