I completely understand that discussion of other engines is not permissible here, so I'll change the position: What if Unity3d contributed (in some form) to Blender3d? Its an open source platform and a middle ground. Donations in the form of support, code, or monetary contributions benefits literally everybody. Best yet (for Unity) you don't run the risk of Blender3d becoming a UE4 exclusive! Please discuss.
