I don't know if anybody has ever encountered this but when i use my blend shapes the lighting on the model does not change.
I've added an example of a half a hemisphere with a blend shape at 0 and at 100 (which just flattens it)
As you can see the polygons are still lit like it is at 0.

How can i solve this? or is it a bug? i use the new unity 5.5

There was mention of this problem some time ago from a blender user. Search around for that thread.
I seem to remember the issue was a result of how blender was calculating normal incorrectly.
Are you using blender by chance?

I couldn't find the thread you were talking about but I finally figured it out, i had to set the normals of the object to calculate instead of import it with the model.
