As I draw closer to the end of development I'm trying to decide what would be a fair price for the game, It would be a big help if you guys could participate in the poll I've created. Located at the top of this page.

Also I added unique deaths for all of the characters! (This took a while, but was worth it!)
    Here's an Example.

The price also heavily depends on gameplay time and multiplayer mode.
Roughly how much time will be required to beat this game? :)
Will you have some awesome functionality such as multiplayer mode? So we can play with our friends?

The price shouldn't have anything to do with gameplay time and whether or not it has multiplayer. It should depend on how much fun the player can get out of it and how much work the developer put into it.

I'd put the games time at around 4 hours. Plus an additional 2-3 for completionists.

And no I don't have any plans for multiplayer at this time unfortunately. But i'm not against the idea I just have no experience with networking.

For me it's all about making sure the customer is satisfied with their purchase. I don't want anyone to have buyers remorse.

    Thanks I appreciate it!

Also here have a gif :)

I don't see why it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with gameplay time and multiplayer mode. For you , I can't say.
Resistance Retribution is my favorite psp game , trust me , if it had no multiplayer , I might have just played it for once. The reason I kept on playing for about 2 years EVERYDAY was because of it's multiplayer mode. It was so fun to play with friends. Resident Evil 5 and Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands are one of my favorite Xbox 360 games , unfortunately their gameplay duration is extremely small. I had so much fun playing them but that fun could have been doubled with more gameplay time , more chapters. I don't know if you don't enjoy these 2 factors.

I just bought steam greenlight and made a rough draft of the greenlight page! Lets hope that 100$ was well spent!

This is what the description of the page looks like now. Do you guys think it's professional enough? Is there any information that should be added or that you feel is lacking?

All of these discussions about what price a game should be are quite... strange. I don't see why the developer shouldn't just price their game anything they see fit.

Asking the general gaming public on the Internet (the best place to get well thought out opinions...?!?!?!?!?) about how you should price your game when there are some already common prices along with suggesting those prices directly would probably just leave the developer wondering.

And does every Steam Greenlight page a developer wants to make cost $100 each? If so, then it's no wonder I dislike Steam more and more everyday.

Cool trailer, not too long, not too short. Good job! I just upvoted your greenlight and shared it to my friends. Good luck.

Hi there, just purchased your game and cannot get it to run in Windows 7 32 bit, it says failed to start game when attempting in steam and it says this version is not compatible with your version of windows when trying to use the launch file in the games folder.

Was really excited to try this out! Hope someone can help me

Spoiler: I Might suck at your game, i know it's supposed to be a hardcore platformer, and i only played it for 15 minutes, so take my feedback with a grain of salt :)

These are not facts but just my personal opionion about your game. With that said i wanna say: great job for finishing and releasing a game and working on it till the end, i admire that skill!

But I have a few things i wish was in the game / could be better / maybe changed.

    -An immunity timer
When getting hit, make the player immune to damage for a split of a second, maybe like 0.1s or even shorter, just so you can recover and retaliate.
Example: Level 1-4, there's spikes and 2 birds and flying obstacles that gets shot at you. I get hit by all 4 within the same second and i die. I don't even get a chance to jump and make it all the way. Also the birds circle around you, so they are really hard to hit, which is fine when there's longer time to react in, but when it's that close up combined with other stuff it gets really stressy to calculate the jump over gaps while shooting and avoiding spikes and flying stuff.

    -Level design
Some platforms are placed below eachother, like in a straight line, which seems intuitively weird, cause i expect there to be a platform diagionally down from there, which will catch me when i fall from the other, but instead i fall and die cause i get no time to react. Maybe it's just because i set it at a low resolution, ie 1152x648, so the screen / camera isnt big enough? idk.

The scorpions blend into the background, so they're hard to spot when focusing on the left where the bullets get shot at, and then suddenly getting hit from the right.

This is maybe just me, but, "edge-jumps" can't be done, so if u run to the edge and jump u just slide off instead of jumping. Which is frustrating.

    -Difficulty curve
I personally think the game should start out easier, so that you have incentive to play and not die repeatedly over and over and lose motivation to play, or atleast i do. I know it's a game, but i guess this applies to most stuff, "it takes 1 success to erase 1000 failures", maybe abit exaggerated, but i hope you get the point. Either it's just me, but the difficulty curve seems steep and first and then just gets steeper. I would say slowly get the player in the habit of succeeding, so that failing isnt that bad, and then take the player on wild rollercoaster rides.

    TL;DR
I think the game is abit tough in its state.

Just went to vote for you on Greenlight, and looks like you're already greenlit! Good job :) In light of that, I just got the game instead. The first level was pretty tough (that bird was really hard to kill!), but I found the second one a bit easier. Gotta go out now but will keep playing later. Seems you've spent a lot of time on the details, which I really like.
