I seem to be having a problem with the Asset Store on my Notebook computer running Windows 7. I open up Unity Asset Store window and it is completely blank. It does not seem to try to load or anything. I also don't have any buttons on the window. I can select reload from the drop down menu on the right hand corner but nothing happens. In the log when I reload only and not when I initially load the asset store window I get this.

    url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/

    and sometimes I get

    url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/
    UnityEditor.GenericMenu:CatchMenu(Object, String[], Int32)

And after being logged into the Webpage Version of the Unity Asset Store when I click on the Open In Unity button I get this error in the log.

    url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/#com.unity3d.kharma:content/768

I tried installing a new version of Unity 3D and now I am on Unity 3D 4.12 and that did fix the problem however it has now decided to do it again on Unity 4.12 and there is not a newer version of unity that I can install at this time so that solution is a no go. Note the asset store does work on another computer in the house, and I have even turned off the firewall on this computer to make sure that is not the problem. It did not make a difference.

Solution is to install back to an older version of Unity then back to the newer one and then the store will work. I also encountered another bug in 4.12 Where switching from Desktop to Android with the new Tutorial Mechanical Lab in the project made the project corrupt and then crashed unity everytime. The solution to that is to then take the project out of that directory so that Unity can not find it and then Unity will start back up again without crashing. Otherwise you will not be able to launch Unity again without it crashing in Version 4.12 however this is not a problem in the older version 4.01 so that is a work around to that bug. I hope this helps someone else that runs into this problem. I guess its just a good idea to hold back some older versions of Unity to reinstall when this kind of stuff happens.
