Black background and white box before splash

    Ever since i've been creating Android builds on 2018.3 this has been coming up before the splash screen and stays around between 1-3 seconds and I haven't found anyone else online with it or solutions for it.

    Has anyone on here come across this too or know how this could be fixed?

    So, the splash screen actually appears after this?

    Yes the splash screen appears shortly after showing that

    Could you report a bug and post the ID of the report here? We'll take a look.
    Also, don't forget to attach a repro project!

    I created a bug #1135969

    I also noticed it doesn't occur if i delete my Textures folder. In that folder has a bunch of different images from the App including the splash logo

    Found out it was because of the static image assigned in the player settings. My guess is the static image doesn't support transparency so it didn't show the white text on the image - making it look like a white box.

    I have this issue in 2022, and idk what is causing it. I added a background
