    Hello,

with every renderer I know, Arnold, Redshift and the likes, if you set the diffuse or albedo color to pitch-black, it will render black. No amount of light will change that, because it's multiplied by 0.

I noticed that in unity that's not the case - both in the standard renderer and URP. (HD seems to work correctly.)

    Any idea why?

Btw. the only reason I did notice this, was that I was using the old "use pbr-master, set all to 0"- trick to get shadows for my unlit graph .. I wish somebody would tell me another way, and I'll forget about this "glitch" right away.

    Thanks :)
