    Hi,

I hope I've put this in the right forum.

I have a question about licensing, and where the line is for this one.

If I create a local network bingo app so people can join in using their devices, the app could be used for a pub night or a one off bingo game in a school hall. Would this be gambling and would I need a gambling unity licence, what would happen if the people doing the event charge a fee to enter the game, or if the people running the event gave prizes out at the end?

Thanks in advance, hope someone can just clarify this.

If money is involved then it's gambling. Otherwise it's just a game. If it's financial then you should contact Untiy's gambling team here https://unity3d.com/unity/industries/gambling

If it's just a graphical UI updating people's progress and does no actual gambling then I don't think it's grounds for a gambling license, but the team on that page will be able to assist with a concrete answer.
