    Hi everyone,

This is my game Beyond eyes that I've been working on for the past year and a half, You play a blind girl named Rae who visualizes the world by touching, listening and smelling it. It's a game with a strong focus on exploration and the relationship between you and the protagonist.

As you guide Rae through this unfamiliar world your behavior as player influences the way she feels and behaves. A player who forces her into dangerous situations finds himself with a scared, distrustful girl who will refuse to do his bidding until he regains her trust. Of course if a player respects Rae's wishes and is careful to keep her from harm, she will open up to him and will trust him in difficult situations.

I am currently running an Indigogo campaign for the game that you can find here:http://igg.me/at/beyondeyes

Pre-alpha demo will be released in November!

Let me know what you think !

It's gorgeous and I'm jealous! A couple years ago I developed a set of effects for doing a "paint the world around you" style almost identical to this, but I haven't had time/funding to build the game the effects were intended for . I'm glad to see you're doing something cool with similar effects. =-)

I saw the title from the thread and though "How are you going to handle blindness in a game?" WOW! Very cool!

    Keep it up!

Same thoughts here, nice way of expressing blindness into a game and how a girl explores the world.

Not a fan of the name of the game ... How about `unseen`?

I do love the experiential qualities and the visuals however.

It looks so emotional, just by watching the trailer, I feel sad for some reason, despite the happy music towards the end.

It easily affected me emotionally just from the trailer, that is hard to achieve, and you have done it. It is beautiful.

EDIT: The only real issue I found with it was it seemed very jerky at places... Is that just because of the recording?

Glad you all like it! The jerkiness is Fraps being a jerk, luckily ;)

Love it! Made me think of The Unfinished Swan. So good to see something new and beautiful. I agree with imaginaryhuman on the name, Unseen is a really good title. However, title is a title, focus on the content and you can name it whatever. :)

    Very beautiful indeed. Good luck!

Not my style of thing really but it would be terrible waste if this doesn't get funded. Crowdfunding is weird. Some developers gets millions just by selling dreams and at most showing few concept arts.

Looks as if you hand painted each cell as a water color. A beautiful and original style for a game that I haven't seen before.

I was going to fund at IndiGoGo, and I still might, but I realize of course you don't need funding as much to pay for advertising rather than actually create your game. In that light, why can't we simply 'Like' your project and share it in Facebook similar to 'see.me'?

Found the Facebook Like button. Good luck.

...nevermind...it's worth supporting to see you finish this game.
