[Beta 14] 2D sprite diffuse shader renders transparency black

    Hey guys,
    I've noticed this problem since beta 13 and was wondering if it was my machine or just a beta bug. Whenever a sprite is set to a material that uses Sprite Diffuse, the transparent parts of the sprite will appear black.

    I'm running Unity 5 beta 14 on OS X 10.10.1, the earlier beta's never had this problem.
    Any ideas on what the problem could be? Or any tweaks I can make to the shader to make the transparency work?

    I am having this issue in Beta 14 on OS X 10.10.1; just upgraded from Beta 9 where the issue was not present.

    [edited because I'm an idiot and can't read version numbers :)]

    Double-edit - just downloaded b16 and the issue persists.

    Yeah, it's a little concerning when something as simple as an issue regarding sprite transparency has made it through the last 3 versions of the Unity 5 beta.

    No comment can be made on versions older than the current (as of writing, 21). If you still get this behaviour in 21, with "fade" set for transparency, then file a bug otherwise it's a waste of time talking about it since it could have got fixed in 18, 19, or 20.

    Sorry for not checking latest 5.0.0B21 build. Will try it tonight.

    Tested with B21. Transparency on Diffuse 2D Material Shader is working again. thx.
