    Hi there,

I'm not sure quite how to go about this, but I want to have celestial bodies like shown in the screenshot below in the sky. I am using a procedural sky, although if it's not really possible or better, I can always try hdri.

I just want to know some ideas for the best way to go about it. Thank you!

I don't know the "best" way, but my first question would be do you want to be able to move the Sun around in the sky and have the shadows move? Or do you want the two planets/moons to move in the sky? If yes, you might need to create actual spheres with textures and put those spheres up in the sky. Then all the lighting will shine on them.

If you only need static images, HDRI / skyboxes / etc probably is the most efficient way to go. I don't think there is any "best" way then - whatever works best for you. But I don't think any of those schemes would update the shadow on the planets/moons as the sun moves in your scene (if you need that).
