Best way to do pathfinding in an isometric tactics game?

    I am making a tactics RPG game and this is my first time doing real pathfinding besides just moving in a straight line towards a target or following an ally. I managed to get an array of objects for each tile on the tilemap that have their neighbors, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice for where to go from here? https://9apps.ooo/

    If you're looking for a good pathfinding implementation I recommend starting here:

    There is quite a detailed walkthrough of how A* works, plus a full tutorial on how to implement a ton of different features like weights, and path grouping.
