    Hi,

Anyone have experience of using freemium payment model on a Unity Android game?

I thought I'd ask before attempting to roll my own solution or spend a lot of time researching and trying to integrate solutions into Unity. An ideal solution would be one which I didn't have to worry about the backend or payment options and which worked on IOS too.

    Thanks for you help :)

You should also check out Flurry's incentive installs offer wall. Android users like to get their stuff for free and if you can make money on it at the same time the better :D

Thanks a lot guys. These are exactly the sort of things I need to know. I've got my game working on a wide variety of Android devices so I'm about halfway there I reckon. I'm treating this as an experiment, so I wont to be disappointed if I don't make a lot of money, but I want to treat it as a commercial exercise so that I can hopefully apply what I learn to future projects.

That is a very healthy attitude. It may be worth taking a look at TapJoy as well, they do a similar thing to Flurry. I have no idea which is better, I think there is also OpenFeint, which is similar in some ways too.
