    Hello friends,
I am making an Android game and I have a huge terrain:200x200 meters. I use a material with a .png texture declared as advanced with 4096x4096 pixels.
Problem is that the texture takes 45 MB of disk space, and after I publish...the game takes 40 MB.
The problem is that the resulting apk is too large, and I would like to know what is the best way to put a texture on may terrain so that the game wouldn't take up that much space.
    Thank you.

Repeat a much smaller texture on the terrain. I don't think a 4k texture is going to even work on a mobile device.

Hi...it is working on Samsung Galaxy S4 and Nexus 5...tested by me.
I tryed painting the terrain with 9 textures...with the Nature Terrain shader...the performance drops a lot...but the build will be around 25 MB instead of 40 as it is now
