Best server-side score storage service

    Hey everyone,

    I guess that this question has been asked several times but I am not able to find any answer.
    I would like to know if there are services that provide ready to use solutions for simple server side player score storage or data ?
    The aim is to avoid having to configure a server, a database or code the behaviour of the server.

    I've used parse before. Seems okay.

    I've also heard good things about playfab.

    For mobile you can always use the native solutions like game center.

    Parse
    and Playfab seem interesting but Game Center is only related to iOS right there is no native solution for Android ? Does somebody have other experience to shader ?

    I like Parse, although I haven't yet tried to do anything too complex with it.

    I've looked at all solution and for the moment GameSparks seems to be the best solution as it handle a lot of things for free.
    Parse is not really related to gaming and it doesn't offer build-in economies or leaderboards for example even if it seems interesting.
    Playfab seems interesting but it offers less functionalities for a free account.

    Any other feedbacks for other tools or for Parse, Playfab and GameSparks ? What are you analysis of those tools ?

    @Katie-GameSparks I would like to know more about the definition of the MAU, the DAU and all related calculation as I am new to this kind of subject.
    I also would like to know more about the transition between a Free Indie account and a paid account.

    Each unique user that plays per day is a DAU
    In a month if you had one unique user each day, you would end up with an MAU total of 30
    We offer 10,000 MAU per game for free.

    Hi Katie,

    Are there any plans to update the unity leaderboard tutorials?
    They are using an old Facebook SDK, and for WebGL one would want the latest, and also, there are some important api's that have changed.
    Also, they are using an obsolete 3-rd party add-on GUI-helper, that gives lots of error messages when opening the projects.

    So:
    - not working as of now with the latest Facebook SDK, that one would need for WebGL
    - other errors and incompatibilites too.

    GameSparks is up to date with the latest Facebook and Unity SDK. It is very important for us that as soon as an SDK is updated we make sure we are also updated.
    We are aware the current unity leaderboard tutorial is out of date. We our currently working on updating our tutorial.
