Best Program To Make Sprites?

    Hi! I was wondering what may be the best program to make sprites in? I have Gimp, but I really have not tried it yet. Is there any other free programs that would work better, or is Gimp a good/best option?

    I would say Gimp is a great place to start. Personally I use Paint.Net and Inkscape, both free programs. If you give Paint.Net a try I highly recommend you download all the Pinned plugin packs Here.
