    Hey,

Say I have a character with 50+ pieces of clothing: shoes, shirts, pants, etc. Should I import the skinned character with all the clothing into one FBX file (hiding the pieces that are not in-use), or everything individual and then assign the animation controller to the character and whatever clothing pieces that are added to the scene? I'm trying to figure out the right way to do it.

    Thanks!

I don't assume to have the right way but I'm using it in one file with the char. Seperate files you'd need to have the armature in all of them anyway since I assume your clothes are all skinned meshes? If you want to change any small thing on them you'd need to see the character anyway. Seperate files make the workflow too awkward imho.

Yeah, all my clothing meshes are skinned. So you're right, if I import each separately each piece will also bring in their skeleton as well.
