I'm looking to do something like this with lights in Unity.

I'm not really sure if it's best to use actual Unity lights or small models with an emmisive material, or a combination of the 2.

On the coding part, I'm wondering if there's a sequencer script I could already use? Has anyone done anything similar or have any suggestions?

    Thanks

Thanks Hippo, I thought I might run in to issues if I tried using that many real lights.

Just trying to figure out the sequencing side now.

Well for fairground lights you would be using an animated texture and a script to offset what 'cell' by using the texture tiling and offset.
