Hello everybody! I'm finishing a CityBuilder game for iOS, and I am in doubt of what would be the best way to implement the Save Game system. Not technically speaking, but what is the best approach:

    Save data every X seconds...

    or

Save the data to each user action...

    or

    Any other suggestions...

The game is in Real Time, then there is no "turns" to enjoy and perform the Save...

When the player saves, save it. Or when they completes a milestone.

I do not like it.. It is a mobile game... The player can end the game at any time. I would be very strange an option to save in a mobile game.

you could use OnApplicationPause also in mobile, basically this method will fire when your app enter background.

User action. If they did something save it upon execution. If they change that particular piece then it just saves over the previous.
