Man I remember when I was a kid when Tenchu 2 came out for one of the playstations (1 or 2) don't remember.
and I remember my mom letting me keep all of her quarters, so I saved up what was it like 50 dollars in Quarters.

The lady at the register didn't mind doing the change because I was a kid.
I've tried to buy things with change today, and they look at me like I'm stupid and won't take it.

    Like really! haha.

I love shopping online for that reason. It almost made me reconsider my hobbies to be 22 years old standing in line next to a 12 year old & his mom... and we were both picking up call of duty D:

CoD is popular to hate, but advanced warfare is pretty fun. MW2 and MW3 were kinda bleh, the guys making black ops quit... maybe cod is coming to an end, soon. Only November will tell.

@N1warhead do you ever feel awkward when buying games that people much younger than you are buying?

Haha yeah, but I hate waiting for shipping, hopefully teleportation will be a reality one day, they've done it with a single particle, but ooo ahh that's a freaking particle not something I can see or pick up lol.

I'm sort of burnt out on COD games, I really don't like any of them after MW 1.
They are all the same thing, just a different time period. Which just as movies, they run out of ideas and start making stuff that makes no sense, I mean really a USS Obama (or whatever it is)? Do better.

But haha yeah sometimes I feel ackward, but that's the glory of shopping online, but I still don't like to wait. Like my violin strings I'll get them today, 3 days after expected delivery date lol.

Shipping dates are always a bit optimistic - but hey, not you've got your strings :D

I agree that the modern warfare series was just clone after clone, but AW plays more like tribes now than it does COD. None of the previous strategies work now because there's a vertical field to consider.

As for the content, no comment. That really has gone spiraling down since cod5.

Haha yeah, my strings are more important to me than getting my Shader Package onto the Asset Store.
Music is very dear to me. I love it.

LOL Yeah haha. Sounds kinda stupid tbh.
My fav COD though is COD 2.

But my favorite game of all time is Command and Conquer Renegade (FPS/Third Person C&C game).
I want to make a game like that, but I'm scared of the player limits of Photon (well more so the Message limits).

Can you abandon photon and use just C# and network stuff built into unity? You might get around those limitations if you wanna do more work :D

I'm kinda waiting on the new Networking for 5.0... I would do Unities networking, but I've seen nothing but how to do Local networks (not my kinda thing, I want world wide connecting) and I've read time and time again that NAT Punch Through is a problem with current networking.

So I'm avoiding it like the Pleage (however you spell it lol).

Coin money is real money..WTF..Paper money has no backing an can be used in the woods for lighting a fire and wiping yer arse with. Coins can be hammered into arrowheads and make knives and spearheads with. Stack coins of two metals and they can make a battery with lemon juice or hydrochloric on them. Society and their edumacation about things are bass ackwards. I don't play games to be honest. I don;t have the time. I have built dozens as a freelance dev and like complex combat systems and can recreate any mechanic so that is my game. I will beat the Unity game engine itself and then that is beating all the other games:)

Question M1warhed. Are they canceling leave across the board in January. I am just reading that and the buzz is a hot war is going to be started with Russia for not using the petrodollar..speaking of money and war games..so I am on topic but not quite ..heh..

How'd you know I was in the Military LOL?

Well, I'm always on the State Side of things, but it's not full time, I'm only really needed when certain agencies are needing extra help with things, (to not be discussed).

But I honestly haven't heard nothing about it, but that's because it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other, there is no way around facts of what may or may not happen, so no reason to be worried because what's going to happen is going to happen, you can try and change it but if it's going to happen it's just when.

I know we have a problem with Russia, and like most Americans, they don't seem to really think about anything until it's at their doorstep then they beg for help, by then it be too late lol.

But I know Russian bombers have been flying by America through the Gulf of Mexico, and near Greenland near Canada. So I imagine it' not if but when it's going to happen.

LOL There was this plumber on Fox news who I guess traded in his truck somewhere in the State of Texas, and somehow his Mark-1 Plumbing truck ISIS got it with a Machine GUn on the back and still has all the logos, the guy is like wtf how my truck get to Syria hahahaah.

Oh, so that's why you aren't using the unity networking. I'm a very LAN oriented person, so that's why I suggested it lol. I'm glad ippdev joined in so this is a discussion instead of a chat between two people...

Yeah I just don't see the point in it (No offense). Why make something only you and someone in your house/network can play on? When you got the World Wide Web of connections to meet new people and let them expierience your game with billions of other potential people.

I find it much more rewarding than playing with my brother in the other room LOL.

    Just my honest opinion lol.

I mean yeah back in the day LAN was the S***! But yeah lol.

We're a product of our environment, man. I live in a good part of NJ, yet I still can't get stable internet. And for places with exceptional internet, you can just VPN stuff :p

I grew up dealing with DRM and unstable internet, so when I make something, I would never deliver something that is wasted space without internet!

Dang I live in the swamps in South Carolina and got 100 Meg Internet with 10 meg upload LOL.
I've never had a drm problem, because back when I was a kid, there was like no such thing aside from serial numbers, which wasn't a problem obviously as my mom purchased my games LOL.

I knew you were in the military as I do a full reading of at least the discussion section daily.. You are the new LOL guy:). You mentioned writing AI software for weather determinants and such for your unit.. The buzz is on sites I read daily as I keep up with geopolitics and financial stuff for 35+ years daily "tracking the bastards". I could be an intel desk analyst easily with my extensive knowledge. My father was the quartermaster for the Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps and counted their nuclear weapons in NATO and was the guy divvying out ammo to all units..He was also in the Royal Order of the Blue Garter..The Queens Masonic guard and The Black Watch. I know stuff:) I was military too and scored highest ever on the noncom aptitude tests and chose medicine when enlisiting. I should have chose aeronautical engineer of the 96 trades I was offered. When one of the most advanced Aegis ships was in the Black Sea against treaties doing belligerent military maneuvers a months or two back a Russian bomber came in. They pointed their systems at him and the Russian flipped a switch on their electronic package and all the screens on the Aegis cruiser went black. It then came in for 12 bombing run maneuvers and flew back. The US doesn't have point and shoot stuff anymore. If the Russians can blind their most advanced radar and track and shoot systems that easily it surely is not wise to enter a hot war with them. They do not want war but they already had the Bolsheviks overrun and kill 60 million of the orthodox Christians in the 20th century and are not an easy people to subjugate. They will fight hard and it will go thermonuclear. And.. speaking out stopped the hot war with Syria based on a US/Israeli gas false flag. Hagel is no longer in (he was responsible for stopping that) and the crime kingpin McCain is set to be Armed Forced Committee Chairman. Trouble is brewing and boiling and bubbling.. There is a good geopolitical game in here where you have to dislodge the international organised crime elements from the governments.to bring it back to topic:) Read VeteransToday for good intel from the best of former and current US and international allied intel ops with the inside scoop on things.. I read about that plumbers truck not more than ten minutes before starting this reply. An intel analyst would surmise that ISIS is a US proxy from that info. What is with all the brand new Nikes and Toyotas.??! WTF.. Also their leader is Mossad. There is a US civil war between military factions being played out in the middle east.

I have 88 down and 49 up.... but seemingly every 3 days, it goes down for a span of 2 hours, then it's up for a few minutes, then it's down for another 8 hours. I'm moving to Newark in a few years, so I don't expect this situation to get better ._.
