Beginner looking for advices on a project

Hello everybody,

I am currently working on a 2D project destined to help students in highschool for physics classes. I want to make a parabolic shot simulator and combine it with elastic and inelastic collisions between 2 projectiles.
The user would be able to make choices in the start : number of projectile and enter the speed and position in the X and Y direction for them and if they are elastic/inelastic (bounciness at 0 or 1).
There will be an interface for each projectile that will be a speed and position tracker.
I would like to know how to integrate a windows form from C# to make the interface that asks the choices.
If you are interested in my project and want to participate, I would love to have some company.
I will probably keep working on this project over time and make it more complete in the future.

Is there something wrong with the Unity canvas elements to not use them for that?

At what stage are you now? Do you begun and have some prototypes? All concepts sound like Angry Birds for studies and sound entertaining.

 

I just started using unity, I am getting used to the 2D physics and wanted to go back to things I am more familiar with for the interface, ect.
At the moment I don't really have a prototype I just tested differents element of Unity.
I will use the canvas and search the docs and I'll give an update on my progress
