    Hi there guys

I have created a ball that is moved by using AddForce. I also have a rigidbody component attached to it with rubber physivs material. The surface mesh that it is moving on also have the rubber physics material, but not a rigid body.

Now, after tweeking the material friction settings I got a decent golf-ball like behaviour with regards to bounce against the walls. The problem is that it bounces to a certain extend, then suddenly "stick" against the wall.

Any ideas why this would happen?

    Thanks

What exactly did you change? I'm having the same issue.

Solved - although mine wasn't a Physics settings adjustment. I had two colliders overlapping each other in fixed kinematic rigidbodies. When a rolling ball touched these two colliders, it had a tendency to stick to them. When I removed one collider the problem went away.

I've noticed Unity does NOT like overlapping colliders, unless one is a Mesh collider and not a primitive cube, capsule, or sphere collider..

Not sure if I should bump this, but this was the first thread google brought up for me about that problem and I was kind of annoyed that I had to go on searching for quite a while although the solution was found by op.

    So here it goes:

Go to Edit > Project Settings > Physics
Lower the value of "Bounce Threshold", possibly to zero.
    Done.

Thanks a bunch. I have searched so much and have tried so many things. But, this was the final piece of the puzzle for me.
