Baking lighting information into an object texture

    I am trying to bake the Shading, lighting and texturing and save it to a single texture map.
    (In a similar process as the Arnold render would do: https://support.solidangle.com/display/AFMUG/Render+Selection+to+Texture)

    I did some research and all I can find are some really old scripts and approaches.
    Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
