    Hi,

right now we are trying to increase performance on one of our HDRP based projects. So we started baking lights and GI, which increases performance + visuals for us. Unfortunately we used Subsurface Scattering + Transmission on several objects, e.g. lampshades, which isn't working when the light mode is set to "Baked".

Sure we could start faking it with emission and work around it, but workflow wise it would be way better to have it static but supported. Do we miss something (a tickbox or something)?

    Best regards
    Bennet

You're not missing anything, it's just not supported, even though it's not a view dependent effect and could be baked (same as things like reflection and refraction caustics). I've been asking for things like that for years.
