Bad looking transparent

    I used PS and Gimp 2 to make a vine type plant.

    I have a transparent back ground. But it is not transparent.
    I am using unity 3d 5.6

    See photo below.

    If you look close you can see the back ground
    Is their anything I can do about it.

    In PhotoShop and Gimp, did you save them as png?

    Have you tried to play around with your texture import settings?
    Maybe this link might be a good start: https://answers.unity.com/questions/407295/png-transparency.html

    To get to the gist of it:
    * try format "truecolor" instead of some compressed format
    * try to turn off "generate mipmaps"
    * check "Alpha is transparency"

    That is caused by a material setting, try setting Rendering Mode to Fade instead of Transparent.
