Thanks to the folks at Unity who made the publisher's content available to publishers I was able to test this character in Unity 5. The package imports properly and the content works just fine. Just a few notes. Not all sounds and avatars can be drag dropped but all can be allocated with the target buttons next to the slots you want. The maps work well with the legacy bump spec and I have included a new diffspec map here. The map is a png but you can edit it in PS if you need a tiff. I am also including a link to the Unity improved orbit mouse zoom script (written by veli) which I just tested and it works fine, well it works perfectly. Thanks to everyone that bought this asset!

    Shop

    Hi
He made it to the shop! Bad Dog takes his place between all the great art in the Unity Asset Store. :) Any hiccups, questions or weird stuff can go here and I would be pleased to read your reactions.

I am da bawss, Thanks man. Yeah you wouldnt want to scratch your nose with nails like that :)
napster, the webplayer is pc but there are 3 different characters with their own rig so you can choose a lower resolution character for different platforms. The one in the screenshots is the highest version.
Cheers and thanks for the responses!

Is Bad Dog compatible with Unity 5? I get a warning when I'm about buy him that the asset might not work with 5. If not will you upgrade it?

    Hi dienat
Yup the model uses the mecanim humanoid animation type
Below is an answer I wrote on youtube along with an instruction clip on loading the animations for the character:

The aimations are from the mecanim animation starter pack and they are used in the tutorial as well. Because of the size of the claws and the posture of the character the run, turn, walk back, walk back turn were altered in motionbuilder to fit Bad Dog. I can load any of the mecanim animations onto my character and alter them on a layer above the base keyframes. I can then export the altered motions as fbx files as just data and a skeleton which is ideal!
