AVGN Video Game Project

    Hello Guys,

    pretty new to Unity, worked with 3D Gamestudio for a long time before, but glad I made the switch!
    I wanted to share with you my current project, a AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) 3rd Person Action Adventure.

    Other than large corporations James Rolfe usually likes Fan Art - even in the form of games. IIRC there have already been a few non official, free AVGN games. No need to bring out the memes for this project, just yet.

    @chrisoooooooooooooooo1 - you should still ask him if it's okay, though. I asume he will at least be much more approachable than a big company.

    well i had Mike (a co-founder of cinemassacre) comment on an old youtube video, he said I should finish it and was totally cool about it.

    It's good if Mike comments on it but get something a little more official like an email from James if possible. I don't see many problems for this project, personally but beter safe than sorry. And I am not affiliated to Cinemassacre so my opinion won't count ;)

    I really like what you have created so far, btw. You should definitely work more on the Nerd's face, though. Maybe think about a form of hyperrealism or Pixar-ish comic style. It will make things easier for you. The uncanny valley still hasn't been crossed entirely, yet. Not even by big companies.

    if this project keeps on growing and I get alot of positive feedback, I might hire an artist to create me a model (I'm not an artist for humanoid stuff)

    in the meantime, quick try to add cloth component to the game:

    Any quick ways to make the standard shader double sided and cast shadows?
