Avatar for VRchat

I have tried a few time s to make an avatar to use in VRchat . Have watched a few youtube videos and followed them to the letter,but there all ways seems to be a discrepancy between what the video shows and what actually happens in unity(the person making the video is getting different result from unity than I am). Can some please recommend a video that will work? I have spent a couple days trying am having no luck getting an avatar built.

There are TOOOOONS of videos and resources for making avatars for VRchat, and I am not a pro with Unity either but managed to make a whole bunch of avatars, including some from scratch.

My favorite method is using Adobe Fuse, then send them to Mixamo for rigging, then later (likely) decimate them to < 20k polys. Within unity, you use the VRChat SDK to upload them.

But there are also tons of videos on youtube, as mentioned also the slack..tutorial guides on Youtube. Just do a quick search it should come up with tons.

 

Can someone tell me, where to download of avatars ?, and in what folder of the game you put the archive of avatar ?
