Day 2 of trying to use Cloud Build. Per the requested template:

Description of issue: I have Auto-Build turned on, yet no matter how often I commit to my repo, Cloud Build stubbornly refuses to attempt a build. (I finally triggered a build manually via the API, and that is working.)

    Unity version: 2019.4.33f1

XCode version: "latest" (whatever Cloud Build selects for that)

    Source control: SVN

    Local build platform: macOS

    Build target: iOS

    Relevant plugins being used: none

    Project name: Mini Micro

Not including the "does it build from a fresh checkout" bit because I don't think it's relevant — it's not (yet) that the build is failing; it's that Cloud Build isn't attempting a build at all. I waited (well, thrashed about figuring out how to manually trigger a build) for most of an hour after the first commit, and it never noticed.

Is there some integration that needs to be set up on the svn server to trigger the build? Or is Cloud Build supposed to just poll the svn server periodically, and if so how often? Any other known reason that it would fail to build upon commit, even though Auto-Build is turned on?

    Hi,
Enabling the auto-build setting in the Basic Info page is really the only switch you need to throw to use the feature. And it doesn't seem to be the issue with whitelisting IPs that UCB needs either since you've already been able to trigger a build using the API. Could you create a support ticket for us so we can do a further investigation?

Just sliding in here to report that I also have this problem. It seems like eventually, Auto-Build will trigger, but it sometimes takes multiple hours for that to happen.

I also have very inconsistent behavior from auto-builds. Previously I had configured it to start daily at 7:00AM (Amsterdam time) and it starts anywhere between 8:00 and 12:00.

I have a suspicion that the time it starts continues advancing through the days - maybe an effect of some wrong time calculation in the UCB side?

What is your source control system? If it is Git, are you using SSH or OAuth? Would you be willing to provide your project id so that we can dig into it?

Same questions applies here. Would you be willing to provide your project id so that we can dig into it along with the target name that you are seeing this behavior with?

We are currently investigating reports of issues related to Auto-Build and the more info we have, the more easily we can try and track down what process is failing and causing these issues.

Thanks so much for opening the ticket. We are looking into the issue and hopefully with some additional logging we can identify the root cause for why builds aren't starting on time.

My auto builds (time based) are also failing to run. Can provide project ID if required.

Please provide that info along with target names so I can pass it along to the developer that is currently investigating this.

You can submit a support ticket to the Cloud Build team and provide your information there.

I too am having this problem with BitBucket SSH - the cloud build did start eventually, nearly 30 minutes after the merge was done

    Support ticket ID #1349513

This issue should hopefully be resolved for both scheduled and polling jobs. We had some rogue processes that were causing our workers for auto-build to reach 100% resource consumption which ended up causing about a 1 hour delay between each poll of a source system. Earlier this week we deployed some code that cleared up a large number of the rogue processes and we are now seeing checking the source code for commit changes every 5-10 minutes now for auto-build jobs.

Please let us know if this issue pops back up.

I have 3 targets (Android, iOS & WebGL) that auto-build on every commit.
The iOS target stopped auto-building for some reason while the other ones work fine.

    Hi,
Reply I got from Unity's support today:
"Towards the end of last week we identified an issue with IOS builds not triggering auto-builds properly from webhooks. A fix has been deployed for this issue now and they should be working again as of this evening."

The only thing I don't get is that every time I have an issue with UCB, all the services in Service Status are operational
