Every time my Windows desktop goes to sleep for a few hours, when I come back I have this error that is spammed into the console and it is very annoying ...

[Collab] ExternalAPI::Failure: Authorization token has expired

The only way to get rid of these is to restart Unity.
So I restart Unity twice a day at least, for months ...

You should have a discreet solution for renew the token IMHO.
Plus Unity UI tells me that I'm still logged in, I do not understand the issue.
Collab is using another authentication system ?

Have a nice day Unity teams!

    Thanks @ryanc-unity,
I don't know if you have the same issue but almost every time I try to close the Unity Editor 2013.3.0f3, the program won't close, it just froze ... and I have to kill it through the windows task manager. Is this a know issue ?

That's strange that the Editor is freezing for you when you try to close it. Does it still freeze during shutdown when Collab is disabled?

Hum, I never tried to disable collab when I close my editor, I don't know if it is related to collab.
I'm on the last windows 10 pro version with Unity 2019.3.0f3
This behavior happens frequently but not every time.

I know it's a hassle but if you can verify that the freeze happens while Collab is disabled then that can help us narrow down the cause of the issue. Could you try running the Editor with the -enableCollabEventLogs argument and save the Editor.log if the freeze happens again so that you can share it here? That might help us determine the cause of the freeze.

2020.3.30f1 and this still happens - A LOT. Sometimes restarting Unity, the hub, and signing in and out of the asset store does help, but sometimes it just doesn't change anything. If we could at least access the packages we already downloaded that would be great. Why do we download it in the first place if we can't access it anyways.

    Hi all,

With the deprecation of Collaborate, you should not run into such an issue. Could you please confirm if you have Collaborate package installed and uninstall it (or upgrade to the latest version if using Plastic)? The upgraded Collaborate package is Version Control and should not have the behaviour described above.
