    Hello everyone

So I made a prototype particle visualizer the other day and posted in in the Showcase forums :

    http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/music-visualizer-with-particles.288795/#post-1906728

but now I felt inspired to explore more with this concept so I'm starting a new thread here to post about ongoing experiments, speaking of which, I have something new to share :

I created a prototype of a biped spectral dancer where bones are been driven purely by code. It's very rudimentary at the moment but I would like to see how it develops over time. I cant work on it full time but I will get stuff done in between client work when I can.

I am using the particle visualizer behind the character in this demo and took a few screen shots :

ok as per the twitter request I give you FOOT LOOSE :

    http://www.shaderbytes.co.za/unity/biped_spectral_dancer/foot_loose_edition/

I took a different approach to creating and setting the bone Influencers this time round. I generated a random set of 10 influencers per bone to start with low values and then did the manual changes with increased values and offsets to generate a few less random maneuvers in there. So there is 10 times more movement happening than previously on the other characters/songs.

    This guy can move!!!!! haha

That pure glittery fanastic-ness and I bow to you in gratefulness (while my stepson ridicules me because he doesn't appreciate A HERO NAMED KEVIN BACON!)! Also, it's pretty cool that some of those moves are actually Footloose moves! The Bacon-ness conquers everything :D

Ohmygod it even looks and sings like The Bacon! Plus other additional Lion King's based jokes that I had to look on the internet for because I never saw the movie :D That is fantasticalicious! And pretty cool how you managed to go from biped to quadruped \o/
