    Hi

I know I can have Animation Events but is there a way to have audio events too?

I have long narrative audio files and it would be good to trigger events at certain points within the audio.

    Cheers

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Unity includes a feature of this sort.

Assuming that's true, I'd think the most straightforward solution would be to do the timing yourself (you could use text files specifying what events should occur at what times). The timing won't be sample-accurate or anything, but if all you need is for something to happen at an approximate time relative to the sound file, I imagine this approach would be sufficient.

    Hi Jessie

Thanks for the reply. I use script at the moment to trigger events based on time when these audio clips play...it works ok but was hoping for a feature like animation clips.

    Thanks anyway
