I have searched the manual, I have search the forums, I have searched Unity Answers, but I am not getting any answer about how to interpret the DSP Load value displayed in the stats in window in the Game view, or in the profiler (the docs on the audio profiler just stops right before the DSP/CPU Load values are about to be explained, such a clifhanger...)

The value displayed is behaving like a magic, somewhat erratic number, heavily depending on which GameObject is selected, if components implementing OnAudioFilterRead are folded out - it doesn't matter if the component is active - or not, which tabs are open, etc.

Can this magical value be explained, and how to interpret it? Preferably by someone from Unity...
