When I use the Audio Importer to change Format to Ogg I can change the Compression settings in kbps using a slider. Below that slider is a 'New file size' value.

However, after clicking 'Apply', the value I was shown as the 'New file size' does not match the value given in the Preview tab below. It will change the value in the Preview but they will not match, and in some cases using a heavily compressed Ogg file results in a larger KB value than for the raw wav in the Preview window.

Sorry if I have missed something but what is going on and where do I find the true size of my imported file?

The value in the Preview tab can also be lower than the 'new file size' value, and changes in regard to 'Load type' too.
