    Not sure what you mean. Everything is where is it has always been, on their website.

    Have you checked your account? That is where they keep all the links for the tutorials, support forums, downloads for Atavism and the assets for the developer package which they are still adding to. There are also links for the on going test builds they have. I think it would be best to post stuff on their forums because they are very active on their site. Hope that helps.

    Dear community. We are pleased to inform You that Dragonsan Studios took over future development of the product. During past few days we proceeded migration process, so some changes are already visible:

    We are also in the process to setup development environment for that branch and we will move to the next step which is new release (it should be possible within few weeks).
    Because since around 2,5 years we are working on our game production based on Atavism I think we have proper knowledge not only about bugs or lacking features, but also about some performance issues which were present in the present bookshelf version. We made lots of modifications during that time and also we integrated it with some packages available on Unity Asset Store and based on that we want to put all our work into Atavism.
    But first things first, so bugs fixes are most important for us and are on top of our list, then based on that foundation we want to implement features and improvements which we made for our game along with preparation of tutorials and updated documentation. We also have some new things which we will bring into Atavism thanks to our partners, so I think You will be pleased what is achievable within very limited time.

    At the end I want to share with You what we made in our game called World of Heroes, which is MMORPG fantasy game.

    What does it mean you took over? Will you continue developing the asset? Iam a buyer from premises version but asset never really workd.

    Yes, we are the rightful owner of Atavism and we will continue developing of the asset. Very true, there are (were) many bugs, but because of we were making our own game based on Atavism, we fixed all we found (we are not using all of the features for sure but most of it).
    Over next few weeks we will prepare new release of Atavism which will include as many fixes and improvements as we will be able to implement. As moving code 1:1 is not possible due to some third party assets implementations in our game, but we will get to the point where all our features should be in place in Atavism core.
    Also after release we will organize submitting issues in some other way than before to make it more clear and transparent. Also what is worth mentioning we not only fixed bugs but improved it a lot, by adding new features, but we will make announcement regarding it in the nearest future.

    it's been a long time since our last post here, but during that time we released two big Atavism versions and redesigned or refreshed almost elements of Atavism project. But for those who were not following our progress just a short info about it.

    Atavism 2.7 which was released in December 2017. We added Arenas Integrations with World Streamer, Master Audio, I2 Localization, new attributes for entities like critical rate, evasion, parry, new effect Sleep and much much more. Full release notes can be found on our new documentation page.

    Atavism 2018.1 which was released in March 2018 brings Atavism to the totally new level. We added so many elements that I won't even put them all here, but the biggest ones are Pet combat and non-combat with full management of combat ones like giving them commands to attack, follow or set stance to aggressive or defensive. We implemented World API by Procedural Worlds which in turn can be connected to CTS, Enviro or Tenkoku, and other systems. You can define profiles with priority, so you can have snowy or rainy maps where weather profile will be randomly chosen based on your preferences. Brand new UMA 2.7 integration package which gives you the ability to use that great character customization. Social plugin to put your friends on the list so you could invite them to the group more easily. Integration with Postprocessing Stack 2, connected to the options along with sound controls and unity graphics settings.
    Atavism 2018.1 comes with totally remade from scratch Demo, which is made by one of our Partner Nature Manufacture which includes: AtavismDemoWeatherConditionChange4.gif

    But there is no such word which can say more than an image, and what do you say about Atavism Live Demo? Yes, Atavism Live Demo package which is a basically small sample of the game hosted on our servers, grab the Atavism Live Demo and see for yourself. The best part is that you will get almost similar assets with our brand new Atavism 2018.1 package.

    We are going to put our package on the Asset Store again, so stay tuned, there is so much more to come.

    So... all these other assets in the demo that you mention - R.A.M., CTS, Enviro, etc - have you the rights to resell these because that's how it reads to me.

    They are lite versions and yes, they have permission.

    Some assets are full, like Bomber Bug from S.F. Bay/Infinity PBR, some are a bit limited like Enviro, where author Hendrik Haupt made a special limited version for Atavism only without volumetric lights and volumetric clouds. CTS and R.A.M. are without most of the scripts, but with shaders. Nature Manufacture textures are watermarked. All information can be found along with release notes on our documentation page.

    Most of these assets are included in the form to show possibilities of use and to give the similar configuration and examples as in Atavism Live Demo.

    You might at least want to add Atavism back into the thread name. Maybe something to indicate Atavism prior to being purchased and developed by your company. I saw a message notification in my email titled Old Version and almost just deleted it without reading because it looked more like spam. At the very least changing to Atavism - Old Version would at least help people see what asset the thread is about. :)

    Looks like some great changes and great to see some of these other asset authors working with you guys! Keep up the awesome work. It is putting some restored faith back into the Atavism name!

    Good point @Shawn67 we asked the previous owner to change the thread name and right after we will clarify the thing with Unity Asset Store Team we will create new forum thread anyway.

    We are taking maintaining and development really seriously, so this is not the end of the change, but it's just the beginning :)

    I dont see the point of this asset, you have to buy one license for each server which allows just 20 concurrent users, that is even with the discount price a lot of money as you would have to buy loads of licenses if you want to have any game with some hundreds of users, it is not for massive multiplayer, its just for very small servers. Also dont see in their description they use any lag compensation technique.
    And they dont say they use lite versions of the packages they include as some users mentioned before

    To reply for your concerns, you don't have to get 20 CCU licenses, as there are other licenses to which you can upgrade like 500 CCU, 3000 CCU, and unlimited CCU, you can check our website to find out more about our different licensing models: https://www.atavismonline.com/licensing
    As for the lite versions of the packages, within Atavism, you are getting Enviro (which is basically without volumetric clouds and volumetric light), A* pathfinding has all features required to bake recast navmesh to put it on the Atavism server, so in terms of Atavism it is a complete package, you won't need anything more, we have 3 UMA armor sets, these are designed exclusively for Atavism without any limitations, the same as designed UI. At the end you have many packages which should show you what you can achieve using, for example, CTS as a terrain shader, Nature Manufacture models or river solution R.A.M. These elements have like watermarked textures for models.

    We are pleased to announce that . is live. Among many improvements, it contains also new quality features like Development Mode where you can modify the server-side configuration in real-time and without restarts as well as use in scene mob spawner to put or edit your mobs/NPCs. With this release, we also improved the performance of some servers like the proxy, mobs, combat, world manager, and faction by % to even %. All of these should reduce your iterations time and improve your development performance.
