I am using LoadFromCacheOrDownload to load asset bundles. after already downloaded from my webserver. I notice that some of my asset bundles are real quick to load (sub 100ms) however some are long to long (over 700ms)

it does not seem to be dependent on the size of the assetbundle as one assetbundle that is larger is taking a shorter amount of time to load.

how can i reduce/control how long a assetbundle will take to load from a LoadFromCacheOrDownload call?

If it is not cached, then it will copy to the cache which can take some time. You can check whether it is cached or not to see if that is your bottleneck.

if it is already cached, rather than use WWW to load, you could possible try AssetBundle.LoadFromFile ( sync version not the async ) which is faster.

It is cached. but it seems the method you are recommending is Unity 5 only
