Asset Store: 'Your session is too old'

    Error: "Your session is too old. You most log out and login again to complete check-out.

    This occurs when I add an item to my cart in the asset store and then view my cart. I cannot click 'check-out' it is disabled. I have logged out of and back into unity while it is running. I have logged out, closed unity, opened it again and logged in again. I have logged out, performed a hard shut-down of the computer, restarted the computer and logged in again. The error persists.

    I have to say the engine's user experience and interface have been more of a task than actually making something with it.

    Where is unity storing the cache/cookies for this?

    Same here.
    Top quality store - literally unable to purchase anything.

    Why is Unity even validating session length for purchases? =/

    ---

    edit: the web store is working, so for now we can use that :)

    A fix has been released to resolve this issue. Please log out and in again, and the error message should be gone.

    This was not a case of the Asset Store needing to validate the length of your session. As you may have noticed the entire log in process has changed.

    Logged out and back on. Asset Store tab in Unity now doesn't work at all. Stays grey.
    Using Unity Editory 5.6.0f3 Personal on Windows 10 64-bit.

    Just trying to import a package I already purchased, can't even do that :(

    Do I need to do something else to get this fix other than just log out and back in? Because I have done that multiple times, yet every time I go to purchase something I get the same error.

    Logging our and back in all the time is so very annoying and frankly makes me want to stop purchasing things!

    Still happening regularly for me in Unity 2017.3 beta, but as before only on my Macbook, never on my Windows. Unity on Macbook in general just seems like it needs a lot of work. On Windows I never have to log in when starting Unity either, but on Macbook I almost always have to login to my account before I can even open my project.

    Nov 16th, 2017 and I just got that issue too within Unity. Seems ok in Chrome
    2017.2.0f3

    Same issue here (2017.2.0f3) - it has never been fixed for me.
    I have to log out, log in again - then close and reopen my unity project to buy anything.
    Ridiculous bug considering how much revenue unity must generate from the asset store - sort it out devs!

    Yeah this happens to me as well. I find it especially annoying when using collab because if you do relog you have to check for changes again and this process takes awhile to begin with so I don't even bother. Quick work around if you aren't lazy is just go to the asset store online to make the purchase. It will show up right away in your downloads section of the Asset Store.

    Can confirm. Still happening. It started when unity had that data breach last year. It’s very annoying and sometimes I don’t bother buying the asset they day as my password is managed by a manager and I need to copy paste it each time.

    I am having the same problem. I am finding Unity to be very frustrating. Thinking about going to Unreal. Maybe they know what they are doing. Glad I am not trying to sell things in the Unity store.

    Yeap. Had to log out and log back in again today as well. If the session is a few hours old it kicks you out of the store, even though you are still logged in...
