Asset Store Times out on Downloads

I commonly get the error: "Download failed - Resolving timed out after 5xxx milliseconds."

This happens the vast majority of times I try to download things from the asset store, although I have experienced isolated and seemingly random moments of successful downloading. I have no idea why or what the difference between when it works and when it doesn't is.

I have tried disabling Windows firewall.
I have tried running as an administrator.

I am just at my home on ATT UVerse, I don't think any fancy proxy server things should be relevant.

Any advise would be much appreciated.
