Feedback Asset Store Package Manager Feature Request

    Please add

    * a direct link to the downloaded file on the local file system
    * an option to not overwrite or to backup existing files instead of overwriting them. Or just download each of the files into a dedicated file with the version in the file name.

    It's a pro and con situation, it fills your hard disk, but then again Unity doesn't have an option to download older versions of an asset. New versions of an asset breaking things is something that happens too often.

    Hey there!

    I've had a chat with the Package Manager team who have advised me that this is more of an Asset Store related issue. I've pinged the Asset Store team to make them aware of your thread.
