Asset Store not working, Please Help!

    hello, I have downloaded Unity and now I am trying to access the asset store via Unity Window tab. When ever I try to open it it throws the error message "You are currently offline, Failure when receiving data from the peer url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/ ". I have tried in every combination of disabling my virus protector and my fire wall even went to the extent of uninstalling my virus protector. I have tried opening through a browser the website works fine but when I want to download a asset when I click "open in asset store" it brings me back to Unity to the thrown error message. I even tried some stupid things like lowering the security level on my browser to the lowest one, I have tried running the program as admin. Please help I have looked around and every soultion I find is things that I have already tried.

    Often the asset store tab is blocked by peoples firewalls or anti-virus software. Also try launching as admin.

    I did all of that nothing worked

    Can you report it ( In Unity, Help->Report a bug) and write us the case number in this forum thread for us to check out?

    I assume you can access assetstore.unity3d.com just fine? Are you using a proxy?

    yes it works fine and im not sure if I am or not how do I check, and I also submitted the issue via Unity bug reporter.

    Ok cool. We'll see whether we can repro or otherwise spot the problem.

    Can you also provide us with the case number, so we could track it easier?
